Mourilyan State School has approximately 28 staff and caters for approximately 150 students from prep to year seven.  We have a proud tradition of providing quality education that encompasses a broad range of subjects including, english, mathematics, technology, science, studies of society and the environment, art, music, languages other than english, health and physical education and religious education.  Our focus however is to deliver relevant, challenging and purposeful teaching and learning to the core subjects of english, maths and reading.

Parents take an active interest in their children's education and participate in the schools development in many ways. We invite you to become involved. The success of our school comes from the contributions made by staff and parents. We value your input as relevant to the development of our children. Some parents choose to contribute in class with the teacher of their child. Others participate on the P&C and other committees at the school. Through good communication and involvement, we will be able to provide the best education for your child.
